Not so good news to report this weekend. The Boston Lobsters lost their semifinal playoff match in Sacramento on Friday to the New York Sportimes 25-7. Martina, unfortunately, lost all three of her matches - in singles, she lost to Martina Hingis 5-2; in doubles, Martina & Kristen Schlukebir lost to Hingis & Jennifer Hopkins 5-2; and in the mixed, Martina & Johan Landsberg lost to Hingis & Rajeev Ram 5-2. Looks like having Hingis back made all the difference for the Sportimes who had lost their previous two Hingis-less encounters with the Lobsters.
Nevertheless, I think it is safe to say it was a successful season for the Lobsters who were a new team, back for the first time since 1978. To have made the playoffs is a great achievement. Well done, team - Martina, Daja Bedanova, Kristen Schlukebir, Thomas Blake, Johan Landsberg, Jonathan Chu, James Blake and coach Anne Smith. Team owner, Bahar Uttam, who worked so hard to bring the Lobsters back to WTT says he's "virtually sure" Martina will return next year so that is definitely something to look forward to. I'm not sure what Martina's next event is going to be. Per this nice article by Mic Huber in her hometown newspaper, the Sarasota Herald-Tribune, she will likely be heading to the Czech Republic next. Thanks to Marilyn for alerting me to this article. Martina is also committed to playing the Womens Tennis Classic in Mill Valley, California next month, October 14-16 - an exhibition event organized by Rosie Casals which will also feature Tracy Austin, Jana Novotna, Caroline Vis, Wayne Ferreira & Rick Leach. And finally, this is slightly off-topic but I thought it deserved a mention. Liezel Huber, an opponent of Martina's on court, occasional doubles partner and a good friend, has set up a charity called "Liezel's Cause" to help out the victims of Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans. Liezel has been off the tour since July following a knee injury and is currently undergoing rehab after surgery. NEVER HOMELESS AGAIN THANKS TO THE INTERNET!! - INTERNET SAVED ME

There is a lot been said about making money online. But, let me tell you this. Money can be made online. Even if you own nothing at all.
I used to be fully homeless. Completely on the streets. I had lost everything due to my company going completely broke. Life on the streets is very tough, and one needs to learn quick. You learn to eat from dustbins and you learn that a dog is a man's best friend. In this period I had no other means of income than to try and get one online.
Why online? This is what happened when I went for help after loosing everything. It happened at the social security office: The lady behind the counter adviced me to go and rob a bank. This is what she said! She said I had more chance on getting some money robbing a bank. And then she went of for lunch. I knew I had to do something my self. I did not want to do anything illegal, so I started to think of what was possible.
I knew out of previous experiences that making money online was possible. This could save me! I then used the free Internet services from libraries etc to browse for something that could help me.
I actually found four programs that would suit me. But, there was a big but. They cost money. Believe me or not, but when you are homeless you have a lot of spare time. When you use this spare time wisely, you can actually get somewhere. Even when you are on the absolute bottom. I started to collect empty bottles. For the money that I earned returning them to the shops, I bought my first money making program. It took me a while but it started to make me money! To make a log story short, I used the money that I made with this program to invest in the other programs. The next month I was living in an appartment!
Now, 9 months later, I am making a steady $7,000.00 - $9,000.00 per month. The amazing part is, that most of my time I am not spending on working. (nor collecting bottles) My programs take only a few hours of my time per day. I work them in my own house, overlooking the river I once walked while I was homeless. I still walk past the river, now only to walk my little Jack Russle. He is my everything.
This is what happened to me in a short story. The main essence from the story is:
you can make serious money online when you want this.

As I have told some more people of this, they tried it and it worked out the same for them. If a homeless man can do it, what is your excuse not to?

Hey Andy GREAT title WTT disappointment. Thats what actually caught my eye. It's hard enough for the blogger to be the object of gossip by those around him or her, for all the things he or she had written frankly in the blogspot page; the ideas, the opinions, the personal stuff. So, being okay with a bit of ridicule is a small give-and-take car loans
I truly believe that we have reached the point where technology has become one with our world, and I can say with 99% certainty that we have passed the point of no return in our relationship with technology.
I don't mean this in a bad way, of course! Ethical concerns aside... I just hope that as memory becomes less expensive, the possibility of downloading our memories onto a digital medium becomes a true reality. It's a fantasy that I dream about all the time.
