Martina & Sveta are scheduled to play their opening match tomorrow in Indian Wells. They take on Emmanuelle Gagliardi & Jelena Jankovic in the fourth scheduled match on Stadium 3. Good luck, ladies!

Unfortunately Martina and Svetlana were comprehensively beaten
6-2, 6-2 by Jankovic and Gagliardi. I haven't seen any reports on the match but I wonder if Martina was still having problems with her back. Even though it may have been a difficult first round I would have expected it to be more of a contest.

Hi everyone,
Unfortunately, I have been unable to locate any news coverage on Martina's performance in Indian Wells. Perhaps we will find out more about that in the coming weeks.

Don't try to crush ice with a hand blender, please! Even if the intruction manual says you can, I wouldn't recommend it. The manual may have you caulk around the edge of this, too, so have enough to do the job. If all of these are ok, then let the unit thaw out.
